FLEETDISPATCHERS
DRY VAN DISPATCH

Dry van dispatch for owner operators.

The biggest market in trucking, which means the most freight and the most competition. Winning here is about lane discipline rather than luck.

Dry van dispatch service for owner operators
48 AND 53 FOOT TRAILERS

We book freight for dry van operators running their own authority. 8% of linehaul, nothing taken from your fuel surcharge or your accessorials, and no contract to get out of.

What we book for dry van

General palletised freight across long haul and regional lanes. Consumer goods, packaged food, paper, retail replenishment. There is more dry van freight than any other kind, which is why the board always looks busy and why the posted rate is usually the floor rather than the ceiling.

Why lanes matter more than loads

Anyone can find you a load out. The money is in what happens next. A strong outbound into a weak market is how a good week turns average, because you either sit or you take a cheap ride home. We plan the return before you accept the first leg, and we would rather book a slightly softer outbound that sets up a good backhaul.

Drop and hook against live load

A drop and hook that takes twenty minutes is worth more than a live load paying ten cents more and holding you four hours. Dock time does not show up on a rate confirmation and it is the single most underpriced thing in dry van. We factor it in when we compare two loads for you.

Detention actually gets billed

Detention is standard on most broker contracts and it goes uncollected constantly, because the window to claim it is short and nobody wants to raise money mid load. We track it and invoice it, and we take no percentage of it.

Running something else?

We dispatch non CDL through Class 8.
